MADDIE PASSED HER TEST!!!! and pictures from our photo shoot

The girls made their first trip in to the city today so Madeline could retake her car-seat test at Children's Hospital.  She passed with flying colors!  They were very nice and weighed both girls for us - so at 5 weeks 3 days they are:
Madeline - 7.2 lbs
Eloise - 6.9 lbs

Happy 1 month to Madeline and Eloise!  I still find it hard to believe they are here, and that there are two of them!  Today they weighed in at 6 lbs 7 oz and 6 lbs 3oz and growing quickly! Do you know who is who?

a sneak peek at our first photo shoot

Our Aunt Kyle gave our Mom and Dad a gift certificate for a photographer to come to the house and take our pictures 3 times over the next 12 or so months!  Today (Mom and Dad's anniversary) was our first photo shoot.  Dad took a few pictures of our poses, stay tuned for the link to the rest sometime in the next week or so!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

I am sorry I didn't get a chance to post these on Matt's actual birthday - we had a good day at home with both girls and lobsters for dinner.  Ellie gave Matt a huge blow out and earned the right to wear the Daddy's Princess outfit for the day!  Maddie enjoyed cuddle time while Daddy watched tv.  After the blow outs and double baths the girls spent some time together on one of their beautiful quilts!

Welcome Home Madeline and Eloise!

We welcomed home Eloise on August 30th and Madeline tonight, 9/2!  We are all very excited to have both girls home together and look forward to many new adventures!  Matt will be off the next two weeks as we adjust to our new little family!  It was a long process to get here, but well worth the wait!
